Augmented Reality
Two Bulls has a long history of using Augmented Reality in our projects. In 2009 we launched The Hidden Park, a location based game using augmented reality technology to create an immersive experience in public parks. We had animated creatures appearing out of tree trunks and AR dragons appearing alongside players.
We created a custom version of the game in 2010 for the Norwegian Ministry of Culture and NetCom called Den Hemmeligen Parken (The Secret Park). In sections of the game players could ”follow the fish” to their next location, with animated fish swimming over a live camera feed towards a location in the iconic Vigelands Park in Oslo, Norway.
As technology has advanced, we’ve continued to push the limits of what is possible with current devices. In the past year, with the launch of the iPad 2, iPhone 4 and more powerful Android devices, the possibilities for seamless AR experiences have exploded.
